It's insulated, and works fine even when the outside temps hover around 0*F

it has a top vent, where I run a BT temp meat probe
If its raining or snowing, I put it under 2 saw horses with a sheet of plywood. I don't assume it's still water proof after so many years.

In fact, I saw Putin standing on my front porch this morning, pissing into my flower bed and giving me the middle finger.
