This material is much more expensive than regular glass and much more durable. This is a good quality press. In for one. Thanks.

For me, it was the speed. Quality, is just as good with the drip too. Making the Coffee is faster, cleanup is faster, keeps my coffee hot, bigger size is available, no need to stand over every aspect of coffee making burning time. Just set it and come back when it's done, come back for more and it's still hot.
