I've been looking for an entry level Blower/Trimmer combo and I finally saw this price go down. Didn't see it posted anywhere. 2 different deals:

Notes:- The 2 pack deal [I think] has slightly better tools and 4.0 amp battery that lasts approx 15-20 min. Trimmer uses .08 or .065 line.
- The 3 pack deal is better overall savings if you want the hedge trimmer with 2x 2.0 amp batteries approx 7-10 min run time. Trimmer uses .065 line.
- The blowers are 1 setting, on or off. Not variable. Good for hard surfaces. Don't expect enough power for wet leaves on a lawn.
- The edge/trimmer is variable but with an auto feeder which can be annoying to some people who push on and off a lot.
I have no need for a hedge trimmer so I selected the 2 pack for $119 then the $99 2x battery + free tool deal. Free shipping, arrives in 2 days.

This deal IMO is better than the popular deal before as the equipment is a bit better.
I have used the blower and trimmer a few times now and the blower is good for what it says, hard surfaces. I use it for light garden cleanup and deck/garage blow out. It could benefit from a more focused flat nozzle.
The trimmer performed better than expected. I went slow but it cut through very heavy weeds in my garden. The 4amp battery also lasted much longer than expected and charges pretty quick. I ran the trimmer for about 10-12 min and only about 25% of the battery said it was used. It charged up in about 20 min.
I have no other experience with battery powered lawn tools but I used to run a landscape company with gas tools a while ago. These tools are as good or better than I expected for the price and light usage.
