Horrible brightness and contrast, awful for gaming, and bottom tier brand for QC. This should be a hard pass. Anyone other than a person upgrading from an ancient 32" 480p TV is going to be severely underwhelmed. With such a plethora of TV deals these days, you can do far better.
HISENSE TVs are never that costly compared to the feature set they offer when compared against higher end brands like Samsung, Sony, LG etc. This model is a value for money entry level QLED TV with decent local dimming. 48 Dimming Zone is not really that good for such a big display but that is far better than other brand TVs at this price range, coming with no dimming or only edge dimming.
Amazon was price matching BestBuy for the 65U7G at $599 as recently as this Wednesday. The deal prices always seem to come back not too long after the deal, so maybe hold off if you care. The U7G has many more reviews and comparisons than this one does. Not to say this one isn't good.. there's just no way to know really
You think that is a difference or disadvantage for this TV? May be you should check that article. All new devices are now going to be Google TV and a lot of older Android TV based TVs will be updated to Google TV. https://www.androidpolice.com/wha...ndroid-tv/

The dolby vision is very impressive for around $500.
Should I buy the U6G for $495 or the U6H for $550?
