According to the MSRP this is a good deal, but it looks like the Explorer K2 in a different color. The size, weight (which would signify the vinyl isn't any thicker), and weight capacity are the same, but the Explorer K2 is $126 and change right now.
Performance of these are pretty dismal with little to no tracking or glide. If any wind, they get blown around. The Intex Challenger "Greenie" is lower profile and handles with wind better and tracking is improved. Prime Days had the higher end Intex Excursion Pro for $193. vs $283. now. It's a decent budget kayak that paddles much better than their others.
As other users have mentioned, this is the same boat as the Explorer K2. I have the K2 and the Dakota shares the same manual, even states they are the same boat with additional accessories. Dakota comes with 2x dry bags. I got the K2 two weeks ago, front page deal for $99 shipped from Walmart.
