Do NOT leave this plugged in overnight. The manual says this for battery life and safety. I nearly had a fire in my garage after leaving this plugged in to long. These batteries or chargers do not shut off when full like a cell phone or a Tesla. They keep charging and can cause excess heat or explosion. I came out in the morning to horrible burnt plastic smell, a fried battery and charger. Returned to Costco.

*Additional comments* did buy a new one from costco and have followed the instructions to a T and its been amazing. Love the bike!

these drain battery even if you don't use them. Mine was fully charged, left it in my trunk for 4 days and its completely dead when I took it out

The battery is not "NEW"

so it's a bit of gamble I think.

Lifespan of batteries are limited, so there's a trade-off from the reduced price of the refurbished products. Batteries represent a significant portion of cost so there's some risk the refurbished batteries are short lived and not providing the range and power expected.

Ordered end of day 7/22 and got tracking # this morning. Status doesn't show item actually left warehouse yet though.

Edit: received 7/28 (in the west coast). Tires look sandy, so definitely a return. But works so far.

I finally got to try the Jetson on my steep driveway. Unfortunately this little baby ebike couldn't make it. Even with me paddling hard. Bigger ebikes like the Gen3 Groove with 500W Bafang motor has no issue with that same steep incline.

The battery is 36v, and the motor is weak. This is ideal for flat ground. The Groove is about 4x the price so not a fair comparison IMO

Agreed. I am just pointing this out here for anyone who has to tackle steep hills and is looking at this e-bike as a candidate. It is a good e-bike for flat or mostly flat ground.

Got mine in last week. Put together and rode both yesterday. Rode about 7 miles between pedal assist and full electric. Still showing full 4 bars on battery. I felt comfortable 6 ft 185 pounds. My fiance did wreck it, but she has not rode bike in 10+ years. She is 4 ft 9 and 110 lbs and felt a bit uncomfortable. Good buy at $225 for me so far. Plan to take on our camper .

After less then a month off minimal usage I had to return it. Something wrong with cables only goes when turning right. It's going to take about 2 months to get replacement. I'm gonna buy one at Costco and return it when replacement arrives.
