Lifespan of batteries are limited, so there's a trade-off from the reduced price of the refurbished products. Batteries represent a significant portion of cost so there's some risk the refurbished batteries are short lived and not providing the range and power expected.

Wrecked it a month ago and broke my rib. Haven't been back on since. Haha. My
Fault mostly but the bike is not super stable ! I'll be back on soon. Battery and range have been good.
