Those are really good specs for price and size… Also, the colors look better than last years gold and silver.🤮
Wonder why they went from the 3050 Ti last year, to the 3050 vanilla this year?
Edit:
Well I searched and found there is a version with the 3050 Ti, but it's not released in the US yet. Don't know how much of a performance boost it would get…
High resolution color accurate screen, 16GB DDR5, i7-1260p, 1080p webcam, 3lbs and 3050. This isnt a gaming first laptop, its a jack of all trades laptop. This would be ideal for someone that needs to take their laptop to class or work, but also wants to be able to play games on it or do some editing too.
If your goal is only gaming/GPU performance there are 5lb laptops with awful screens, and webcams, and better GPUs you can buy for less. But at that point you might as well buy a desktop

there's a review[bilibili.com]in chinese that doesn't really show much of a difference between the 3050 and 3050ti in either implementations. i ended up buying the refurb of the older one since the battery life is worse with the alder lake chip

This has better processor, graphics and screen for almost double price. I am not saying this is bad or good deal (decide based on your need)
