the cpu is pretty middling, even low end in some respects..
that, low res for 15.6", and no number pad for a laptop of this size is really odd
it's probably worth exactly $799
i'd wait for it to be cheaper in a few months or spend a bit more for a better/faster laptop
It's so tempting, but I'm unsure about returns, warranty issues, etc

The Dell is just a worse screen with very similar specs. The deal to me is the open box excellent that foes in and out of stock. $682 is a great price for those specs and it comes with the 15 day return policy and full one year warranty.
but it's too heavy to move around for it to be useful for me . Returned it for a lighter one
I personally like a device for each purpose. I have 7, 10 and 12" tablets for that purpose and then I have a Chromebook to fill that portable but with a keyboard option.

After configuring it as above, it says the retail is 1109.99 and they are offering $100 off, i.e. $1099.99. So if someone was to go to HP and buy the same computer, that would be the price. So it seems that BB is selling it for a lower retail price.
I ordered an open box excellent one for $663, so almost half of what they consider retail.
This sale ends today.
