They're more than 10x the price of this unit. Like telling the Nissan Versa folks they should go with an Audi R8.

Anyways, wine fridges supply sort of dried up early in Covid times and previous revolving door deals came to a halt. I was tired of waiting and ordered an Ivation unit about a week ago... Glad to see wine deals back.
Keep in mind the temp range is 5C (41F) at its lowest… so if you're looking to convert this into a dry ager for meats- it will not work.
White wine -- Yes

Sprite -- Yes

Ice Cubes -- Not so much

Do they make a multi user cooler, I mean this one's nice but it's clearly for just one person who drinks like I do. J/k repped!

Solid Cooler for the money. I picked this model up from Walmart in Feb for $181 and have been very happy with it. The only thing that bugs me is the lights are either on or off. Doesn't seem to be a setting where the lights come on only when you open. But for under $200 can't really complain! Its a good looking unit too. It comes with Arctic King branding on the front glass but is removed easily if it bothers you.

how to prevent this from crapping out? i had the smaller version of this previously and even hooked it up to a surge protector, but after a couple PG&E flex alert power outage last year, it no longer hold it's temp and no support from the company other than need to buy a new computer board or new fridge. Frown

I purchased this about a year ago for this price, and agree it's a solid cooler. Seems to be priced way below similar coolers.

How about a wineador for cigars? I think it's a little large for a humidor for me, but lots of folks seal the drain and use some like these for cigars.

If you want to give soldering a shot, you may just have some busted capacitors.

Love my GE Monogram wine cooler. Pay a little extra and get something with a better brand.

Wish it was thermoelectric and not a compressor model. But seems like a nice unit...just not for me.

Thermoelectric is a lot more inefficient, will use quite a bit more power?
