Just an fyi ego tends to package the older batteries (without fuel gauge) with these refurbs, even if the model number lists the newer versions. Might not be a big deal for some, but I've found it mildly annoying not knowing approximately how much battery life I have left.

Price is about right. Got a blower a year ago with same battery for that price. The battery alone is worth a lot. It's a good deal if you need it.

I've bought from them before. Haven't had issues. Never returned anything, so I can't really say much about that. All their items seem well packaged and comes in mint condition.

The Ego string trimmer I bought from them "refurbished" was scratched and defective, I just sent it back yesterday..

One of mine had the fuel gauge and the other did not. Yea I prefer the fuel gauge and sold the other one.

Good to know, both refurbs I bought from acme came with older battery, despite description and pics saying otherwise. I contacted acme cs and they said that's just how it comes from the ego factory and nothing they can do about it.
