Bought one refurbished 4 years ago at the same price. V8 seems like doesn't go down on price. Is it still a nice price years later? Thinking about to buy another one for family.

What does Dyson actually refurb? Do they replace with new batteries or they just clean it and put in a brown box?

I have the v8 and my parents have the v10. Honestly I like the v8 form factor better. It seems easier to empty the bin (for me). My mom says v10 is stronger but v8 still gets the job done. I would buy another v8 if it were up to me.

Got my V8 Absolute for $220 back in 2018 and since then, never seen V8 get anywhere close to 300. This is great price for Dyson stick vacuum.

Thanks OP. I've had a V7 for about 4.5 years and we beat the hell out of it. Replaced the battery twice, but it's finally starting to go. Been looking for a replacement, and this is a better deal than some of the off-brand vacuums out there.

We don't have any carpet, but the wife wanted a unit capable of handling it. So I've been waiting to find a V8 or V10 on a decent deal.

I have no issues with Refurbs that come from a manufacturer or their approved vendor. It's most likely a returned unit that got reboxed and may have some slight imperfections.

Now, we are getting our first Dyson!

Started with a corded Dyson. Used it for years. Bought one of these V8's a couple years ago and like it so much more. It may not be quite as strong (but still strong enough) as our corded Dyson but the ease of use makes it so much nicer. We kept this upstairs and the corded vacuum downstairs. After a while we found ourselves just carrying the D8 up and down the stairs. Pulled the trigger on another one to replace the corded unit.

I've gotten all my Dyson products refurbished and they work beautifully. The bin in my v10 just chipped and was easily replaced for $30 from Dysons main website. Tempted to get the v8 for garage patio uses!
