This is $100 cheaper than the last FP deal of $1749.99.
  • This has full powered RTX 3070 Ti, 150W, MUX Switch, 2x M.2 Slot and one 2.5" Bay and the upgrade kits are included.
  • Review link of the RTX 3060, 1080p 144hz model: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V8M9S_NW4Vc
  • Performance is pretty strong for the price.
  • Battery life is decent for a 58 WHr Battery, just over 5 hours with normal usage at 150-nits
  • Display Brightness is around 320-330 nits. Color gamut and other spec for the 1440p Panel is 99.9% sRGB, 84% Adobe RGB and 99.2% DCI-P3 and 1215:1 Contrast Ratio.
  • You can use Student Discount on this to lower the price. In the last FP deal, lot of people were able to reduce the price using Student discount by a good margin. I think a student email id is required.

Reviews have this display as being one of the worst gaming laptop displays on the market.

I consider the display a pretty important element in a gaming laptop personally.

Looks like your understanding is a bit limited about Display and you don't understand the fact a specific series can have multiple version of displays. The display you're referring is the base 1080p 144Hz 45% NTSC model, present in the lower spec version of this laptop.
And what gave you up about your extremely poor knowledge, "15.6" 2560x1440 165Hz 3ms IPS Display, MUX Switch, 99% DCI-P3"...calling a Display with QHD resolution and 99% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, "Worst Display".
