Some things to note:
- a lot of complaints about cooling but if you're like me and it's kept in a room that has almost constant AC in the summer it's manageable.
- cooling is more an issue on the cpu for me, I experience thermal throttling under load bc the 120mm simply isn't enough for the 11700k. Idle temps around 45 degs.
- GPU is normally fine, ~75 degrees at 100% load during a gaming sesh.
- 3 m.2 slots as noted in the spec sheet. But one is for your NIC card and one is hidden behind the GPU. Would have to remove the GPU to access it. And of course the third is your C drive.
- the included WD black nvme ssd is gen 3. I upgraded to a gen 4 drive recently to max out my performance. Not really necessary for most use cases tho. Also, if you use both m.2 slots you won't get gen 4 speeds as the 11700k only has 20 pcie lanes (16x for gpu + 4x for one gen 4 ssd)
- lots of included bloatware. Mcafee, onedrive, lots of HP nonsense. Just uninstall all of it.
- fans can get pretty loud under sustained load.
- Windows won't go into Sleep Mode for some reason, it just cycles back on. Seems to be a common issue with HP Omens.
I'm overall satisfied, but I might look into a case swap later on so I could fit a 240mm or 360mm AIO on the CPU.
I've had both of my 3090 versions up for sale for months. I have them priced >$1K lower than I paid for them on sale just 6 months ago. I literally haven't even got a scammer text or an insulting offer worth of interest.
Never again. Buyer beware.

Holy fuuu, a 3070 costed $937 6 months ago?
A year ago, it would have been a no-brainer of course...
So the 3080 ti and 3080 are almost exactly the same?
How much more is the 3080 ti's performance worth compared to the 3080 at $800? $900? $950?
Edit: I'm looking at the average benchmarks for both cards at UserBenchmark, and the ti has 14% higher performance than the 3080. So if the 3080 was $800, the 3080 ti would be worth $905.

Same issue with sleep with my omen. Best fix I've found is using hibernate mode. Saves you even more electricity as well!
Someone below did a nice price breakdown. I'm sorry I don't have a direct answer, as the $250 difference could be looked into.

So to answer your first question, yes.

Mine surprisingly got delivered this morning. Just unboxed it and powered it up. Looks pretty nice.
This was a great deal for me at the right timing as I was looking to use some epp credits that were expiring + the 10% gamer code and 15x perksatwork cashback (if you have this membership, ymmv).
Looks to run warm already so I'm looking to add a bottom fan to it and maybe swap out the rear case fan with a better fan to move more air out. Some wire management accessories will go a long way in making it cleaner. I'll run with the current omen aio as I don't want to void the warranty taking major changes to it, yet. I will likely swap it out with the Arctic Liquid freezer aio in the future.
Thanks OP for the heads up as I was able to catch deal before it sold out. Congrats to anyone else who got theirs!

It sucks since I already ordered a Corsair 5000D case and a Corsair H150i cpu cooler, since I knew it runs warm. I found both on sale. I am hoping it will ship tomorrow morning, but I feel like it won't.
It was such a slick deal, but I guess I will be stuck with 8gb DDR3 ram, i7 3k series, and a 1050ti a little longer.
