This would be a great kayak solution. This unit to my knowledge does not support nmea2k or networking.

I think they have too many in stock and it's not moving that's why the price is so low.

I got this back when it was $200. Pretty good fish finder. My only gripe is the lack of adjustment for the fish id sensitivity. If you turn on the fish alarm it will beep all the time for every little fish passing under the boot. There is no way to turn down the fish id sensitivity without also turning down the overall sensitivity.

does this have a microSD card slot to use a Navionics+ map? Also, can you mount the ducer to a front trolling motor? Looking for a second fish finder for the front of my boat.

someone please help me. I have a headache after reading marketing BS - does it have dual beam like Garmin STRIKER 4 or not???

This 7X model (and all other Lowrance units with an 'X' in the name) is a GPS plotter only…not a chart plotter. It will mark GPS tracks but is not capable of loading a chart/map such as Navionics.

As stated above, you cannot see lake maps on this. There is no mapping capability or third party mapping option

It's not very good. I owned the model that also side scans, cost me $750 and it was basically worthless.

Yeah, you are right. It was discontinued by Lowrance way back (its a 2017 model). My understanding is - its a Sigle beam Dual frequency transducer, it has CHIRP on a wide beam and no CHIRP on a narrow beam and it does not have split screen like striker 4.

My problem is remote work which almost killed by vision, I cant see 4" striker screen without +1.5 glasses, that is why i'm looking for a bigger screen but I like splitscreen function a lot. Decisions, decisions...
