I remembered when they had this machine on Indigogo. Their early bird was $1099 and normal was was $1199. I was in for $1199. I got cold feet and canceled before the campaign ended.
The AC200 back then was with non-lifepo4 batteries and they changed it and added a P to AC200P. I'm glad I backed out before because $100 more for lifepo4 is worth it.
You won't find a known brand power system with similar specs in this price range.
I went back and forth between the MAX and the P, but ultimately picked the MAX for more battery expansion capabilities (I bought one B230 battery as extra capacity, with the MAX there's room for me to add one more B230 or B300 down the road, but if I had the P, I would be full already).
I also bought a few solar panels to hook up to it in case of a more extended outage, but I haven't tested that aspect of it yet.
Because of their similarities, I feel I can recommend the P here if you don't want to spend an extra few hundred for the MAX.
