Alright.
So this card is generally regarded as one of the lowest tier 3070s in terms of heat/noise/boost clock. If you need a small form factor card then yeah it works. But it is probably worth paying 40-50 more for a card with a better cooling solution. It's been 525 for awhile so this is not a deal to rush into.
FYI: 3070's start at $500 for the founder's edition. IMHO the 3070's are the best bang for your buck deal right now. It's a big jump in price for your 6800+ and 3080+ cards.

If you're comparing to a $400 FE 3060Ti, no. but you'd be hard pressed to find a 3060Ti at that price. Most 3060Ti s are in the upper $400 or nearly $500.
Most 3080s are closer to $800
3070s are closer to $600
3060Tis are closer to $500.
On a sale/deal post
3080Tis around $900 or higher
3080s around $760
3070s around $540 (this deal is $525 which is great)
3060Tis (don't see these go on a deal very often outside of B stock EVGA used cards)

Uhm...there's no chance of a 3070 being best bang for buck if you consider all new cards. If you exclude everything below a 3070 (sans 3050), then ya okay, but that's like saying a 3090 is the best bang for buck b/c you're only comparing it to a 3090ti. The 6600 and 6600xt are the p/p leaders of this gen. Every dollar per frame chart shows it.

Between the absolute garbage MSI RX 580 that I had the unfortunate luck of buying back in the day and all of the dirty (corrupt) pressure they've put on Gamers Nexus, in regards to reviews, I'm going to do my best to stay away from MSI in the future.

Here's confirmation of the low quality: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N...CY&
It's literally at the bottom of around 30 different card compared. Accounting for quality, noise, cooling, etc.
