It's true but how is the brightness?? Due to my x91js low brightness and bad reflection handling I'm ready to send it back. I do agree that Sony has some secret recipe for the best viewing experience but brightness of an oled turns me away. It does seem to rate well for reflection handling and angles which should counter the need for brightness.

He mentioned "home theater" which probably infers a darkened room with good sound insulation. So yeah, if you have this TV in a living room with lots of windows, it's probably a good idea to go with a different TV.

Thanks. I appreciate the feedback. Tv after tv I've been disappointed. I keep revisiting the idea of an oled out of desperation. I've messed with four 85" screens in the past 2 and half months.

Agree with buzzman's take as I have Sony's 77" OLED from last year and it is in a darkened theater room. When the door is open and the curtains are open in the neighboring room light reflections are to the point that I suppose might be watchable...maybe, but I always get up and go close either the curtains or door anyway.

Can you reverse the feet so the foot print is not as wide?

Prob would've gotten this instead of a80j from Amazon for the longer warranty. No complaints about the TV so far.

Wow! It's a $1000 bump from 65" to 77".

I got the 65" at the local warehouse a few weeks ago for $1499.

Rep x100 if I could share that much. I was dreading getting huge TV stand because of this, but seems legs can get closer to each other, so 50" TV stand will work just fine! Thanks again.

While the newest OLEDS has gotten brighter this one is still a bit too dark for any living space with natural light. Almost to a point where watching any content during the day is unpleasant.
