Love my two C1s. Have 55 & 77. If you've never gone OLED, well worth the upgrade.

Should I get a 77" when my seat is about 9' away?
It's all personal preference. We have in our living room the 65" C1 above the fireplace (about 7' to the center of tv in height).

We still sit about 10'-12' away and it's plenty big. When I finally get my 77", we most definitely will sit further back than 12'

If I purchase now, and it goes to clearance, will they match the clearance price?
Yes, you have 30 days from the date of purchase to get a price adjustment from Costco. I'm not sure exactly how that works if your delivery date is a few weeks away, do they start the 30 days from date of purchase still or is it date of delivery when the 30 days start?

Also, it needs to go on clearance on Costco.com if that is where you originally purchased it. They will not do a price adjustment for a clearance price in the warehouse if you purchased online as far as I know.

Is it cheaper in store? Many items seem to be cheaper if picked up
A couple of weeks ago when this same deal was around the warehouse had them for $1,449. It was basically giving the the value of the $150 shop card off the price, but you would not a get a shop card if you purchased in he warehouse.

We're 11-12 feet away from a 77". I think you could do 65" at 9 feet - It equates to a 30 degree viewing angle which is pretty standard.

Shows out of stock for me. Might have to go to the store and check it out. Don't have a 4K tv, and everyone keeps telling me its a game changer
Can confirm. Went from a Panasonic plasma to the Sony A80j and its mind blowing.

While I agree about being hopeful, I worry they will run out of stock. I was watching multiple retailers for the 77" C1 and got nervous enough when some were out of stock, and pulled the trigger on the $2,400 Costco deal. That said, maybe 77" is more scarce than 65" at this point.

Edit: also my local store only had the demo model left.
Same here. I was waiting on the $2400 deal but I bit at $2600 hoping it would drop. Sure enough it did. I'm glad it worked out because I'm not seeing the 77 anywhere anymore.

For price adjustments they go off the purchase date not delivery date.

Hopefully these start to show up on clearance at local Costco warehouses like that one post a short while ago for under $1,000.
I think not

I don't have a Costco card. Any good ways to get around this? And how much do they cost?

You don't have to worry about that the inventory will sell out before that happens.

Small TV and so expensive. What is the distance with a 4k TV that cost below $500?
What would do you live in when is a 65 tv ever small and the price justify it self it's one of the best tv on the market.

I bet you are as unworried about $2400 as I was for 77. Amazing tv
