Hopefully these start to show up on clearance at local Costco warehouses like that one post a short while ago for under $1,000.

While I agree about being hopeful, I worry they will run out of stock. I was watching multiple retailers for the 77" C1 and got nervous enough when some were out of stock, and pulled the trigger on the $2,400 Costco deal. That said, maybe 77" is more scarce than 65" at this point.

Edit: also my local store only had the demo model left.

You can also try again in a few hours or maybe the next day and it might show back in stock. This is what it was doing for me the other day, showed out of stock for delivery to my zip code but then showed back in stock a few days later.
