For anyone who's on the fence about the quality of this, Pete Thorn (a very good and highly respected guitarist) reviewed this recently and gave it a pretty glowing review, as far as budget guitar brands go. So, it's a pretty safe bet for most people who are in the market for something not super fancy.

Here's the review video, since I didn't think to post it earlier, because I thought it was common sense to type "Pete Thorn Boroughs" on YouTube, but apparently it's not and people need their hand held. https://youtu.be/NzkMOTb7Tr8

Just ordered this for $99 which gets here today 7/26. I wonder if they'll refund me the difference? Either way great deal for this guitar!

Edit: Adorama gave me the price differenceSmilie Love the guitar more than I expected I would however the only thing wrong with mine is the 9th fret high E and low E string have pretty bad fret buzz. I'm still keeping it and gonna try and fix it myself.

Is this good enough to play once in a while for an amateur? Also, it shows preamp does that mean you can hook up your headphones and use it; not disturbing others?

An acoustic guitar like this can be silenced with some socks stuffed in its sound hole; then you won't disturb anybody and can still play as normal. If socks look bad, you can always make a mute like this one:

This won't do. You need a $21 guitar from AliExpress that can never be in-tune. Then you'll drive them nuts for sure in the least amount of time.
