Nearly 3 years on, ~330 miles I hit my first issue (error 42; external battery connection). All in I recommend the scooter. Helps me avoid the subway
BUT, I think the best deal is the Ninebot Max at $650 refurb on eBay.
Had mine for a couple months now and love it.
But once I saw that the second one wouldn't go above 6mph, I decided to heck with it and sent them both back, and got my other $330ish refund coming. So no harm no foul, just back where I started, on the hunt for a slick scooter deal that isn't Hover-1
The only way you'd find one with these specs for $99.99 is if the battery was fried and a few other expensive parts were too, and they were selling "as is, for parts only", just for people to salvage what parts were left that might work.

Yeah, if it was just the tubes, ok. But not going above 6mph? Hell nah. You can get a 6mph scooter new for waaaaaaay less.

Well more reasons for me to be reasonable with the price history, availability and market trends. Thank you for sharing. $99 price point for this similar working condition not realistic, and I'm sorry.

already purchased total of 3 and all looked like new, no tire issues, and have easily went 16-18mph
