There are definitely much better deals around these days even from hp itself. That said this might have the advantage of better airflow than the 30L that I have but honestly the 30L is aready a pretty massive machine for me and takes a lot of space and this is even bigger...

you are comparing retail parts with whole sale parts. the last $1394 HP deal with 3080 Ti has 40% more GPU power than my son's individual component built, but 30% cheaper. He changed his GPU to 3070 Ti recently.

FYI, folks with the perks + EPP gets it even cheaper at $1542.99 + 10% gamers code = $1388.69 + tax + free stuff PLUS if you use perks account, they have 15x wowpoints which makes it about $210 back in reward points.

Nice extra room in the 40L over the 30L, although the biggest complaint is it has heating problems. BUT if you search, there are many cheap and easy solutions you can add a few extra fans and it will help tremendously. I got the 30L deal with the 3080Ti and spent a bit extra to get premium noctua fans and it was worth it. It still runs whisper quiet with no heat issues.

Well it changes every now and then on the wowpoints. It's showing 3x today, but last week it happened to be 15x wowpoints so ymmv.
