anyone know the shipping quality of Walmart? should i expect the box to be all banged up? not sure why i'm assuming the worst..

follow up: it came in yesterday, and it's in brand new/excellent condition. they shipped via USPS. the set was in TWO boxes. set was with bubble wrap inside a sealed box, which was inside a larger box with even more bubble wrap. best shipment of a lego set ive seen. with best buy being the worst, having received a different set earlier this week, so banged up and dented being shipped in a thin, bubble wrap plastic envelope.

Generally it's been fine, but I don't recall if i've gotten Lego sets from them recently. I picked up the Zavvi deal and there was just a small dent on the corner so I was pleasantly surprised given some of the replies for that deal. Worse case, it should be an easy return.

My lego delorean from Walmart arrived just fine. My playmobil delorean from Walmart had too much bubble packing and ended up crushing in the top of the playmobil box.

For shipping quality WMT has been very good. More consistent than AMZ which is mostly OK but sometimes WTF?

I got this set from Wally a few weeks ago, and it was in a proper-sized outer box with crumpled paper to pad it. Very satisfied.

I'm sure it will come back again, but maybe at the price increase?

Amazon shipping is great IF you choose to put it in an Amazon box on top of what it already ships in, then the set is double protected and arrives more or less mint.

I got one of these sets from Zavvi and it was messed up bad in one corner.
