My family of five went camping for the first time just last week. We took this tent as our main tent. (We did take a backup tent which we never had to use.) My wife and I took a blow-up queen-sized mattress with our three kids sleeping on several blankets. We were very comfortable. There is plenty of space. In fact, in our first stop, we had to play card games inside because the mosquitos were so bad outside.
It did handle the quick rainstorms we experienced. We were dry, but I don't think it would handle a prolonged soaking.
It does take a lot of space to set up. We ended up using it at two different sites. At the second spot, we had to put the outer tent spikes outside the ring. If you don't have space for that, this big tent isn't going to work for you. I would also have liked to put tarp down at the second site as we were able to feel the sharper rocks through the floor; it was fine at the first campground though.
TLDR: If you need plenty of space for a camping in pretty decent weather, I don't know how you can do better than this price.

The more expensive bell tents are often made of waxed canvas so it'll be a lot more substantial (hence the price difference). Also, not sure if you can take down the sides of this and just have the top canopy like with other bell tents. This may be all one piece.

Does anyone know what this is? Just a USB port or something that could power a CPAP?
