As far as the increase in price goes, part of that is due to them making additions/changes to the bundle. They include "storage" seats now. They also increased the bag thing to the Movie Sac, which is bigger than the previous City Sac. But they've also increased the price of everything beyond those upgrades.
My wife has been wanting one of these for a while, and I was about to bite, but with the higher cost and unnecessary "upgrades" trying to justify it, I just don't think its a good deal anymore. When this was in the $5k range, it was much easier to swallow the cost. But $8k with taxes? Sorry, that's just crazy. Also, LoveSac usually has 25% off promotions directly every so often, which would meet or beat this deal. Especially if you removed the overpriced fluff stuff that this bundle includes that people may not want/need.
