A year or so ago Le Creuset redesigned all of the cast iron with the new Signature line. This line has larger handles and ALL of the knobs are stainless steel. The knobs on the previous line were plastic heat resistant up to 390 degrees. Stainless steel knob is up to 500 and oven safe.
I called Le Creuset outlet yesterday as I was looking for a braiser. The price was 30% off of the old discontinued model WITH plastic knob. You'd be paying more and have to pay $28 for the stainless steel knob!!!
This deal is amazing and I ordered several pieces. I haven't ever seen a sale like this on the entire cast iron line of LC.
edit: don't forget 8% cashback on a certain site too
Honestly is a waste of money to buy an expensive stock pot in my view, since the intended usage doesn't really care about even heating, or benefit from a lot of thermal mass of the cooking surface. A big volume of liquid will do well to distribute heat. The easier cleaning and resistance to leeching are about the only real advantages here, and it matches the looks of other Le Creuset cookware if you care about that.
Plus enameled has several disadvantages too, it's fragile, way more fragile than stainless steel, stains, and in this case is way more expensive.

Nothing against you. It's funny we are on the "Slickdeals" for discounted/sale prices etc, but cannot mentioned other Cashback websites for additional discount.
I believe it's against SD rules to mention other CB sites. The reason being is that they are getting commissions when we buy using the links on SD. Using a different site negates that. Gotta get paid.
It's per click. When I click on SD website, I go to the seller's website. If I click on the Cashback, this relation/link goes away?

Yes. SD referrals work the same way as CB site referrals. If you click the link, you'll usually notice some extra garbage at the end of the URL. That's referral tracking info that says who sent them sometimes along with other data about you. Only one pile of garbage is accepted to be added at the end of a link. That's why SD will ban the mention of any website that would otherwise replace their garbage with other garbage
