It's also just 2 GB lol. I loved the Hawaii cards. They performed much better efficiency and thermals compared to Fermi cards. I always wondered if AMD would change their model numbers even if the old ones were used just 13 years ago.

Damn, what a deal! I got the ultimate version of this card early this year for $1300. Make sure you have the space for it inside your case. It's beefy AF

Wow, this was twice the price just a few months ago.

It's happening, folks.

Hold. The. Line.

It is a great deal if you need a GPU right now, but these companies are getting desperate to off load their overstock with next gen coming right around the corner.

I would say give it at least another month. Prices will continue to crash. I'm with McGee on this.

Hold. The. Line.

If you're expecting prices to drop, it's mostly going to be the high end ones 3070/6700 and higher. The margins are larger on the mid range and low range cards so you won't see a significant drop on those.

But as mentioned twice already, Hold. The. Line.

Honestly I've been gunning for a 3090 or 3090 Ti, but I also do 3D modeling in blender as well as game so it's worth it to me.

Also being a PC builder I can say those cards are complete overkill unless you're doing production level work or something that involves intense rendering.

I thought SD didn't put Microcenter deals on FP due to B&M status and low geographic coverage?

AMD is still playing catch up on a couple things in graphics cards. Of course the lack of Ray Tracing and non wide spread adoption of FSR kinda hurts them. However AMD cards cost/value is much better than NVIDIA.

Depending on the scenario, usage or even person YMMV on which card is best for someone

My 3080 didn't ship from Lenovo yet, debating if I should grab this instead since I have a microcenter near me

Even reviewers of the 6800 XT said it was overkill for 1440 and made sense mostly for 4k gamers
