This or the spyderco para3 lw that is also on sale?
I had already grabbed the para3, but would have been a tough choice. I don't have any knives with cts-hxp steel, and for what it's worth I think the para3 is a great looking knife in the orange black dlc color combo. Benchmade and spyderco both make excellent knives. I'd go with whichever you think will suit your needs best.

Same price point, it's the Bugout for sure. Better steel and the G10 in the Bugout is outstanding.
Nice knife at this price point. It's funny, I have a bunch of nice knives, but I always grab my cheapie Sitivien ST109 now as it's damn nice for 28 bucks (axis lock, D2 ~60hrc, nice micarta handle, ball bearing, smooth action, etc) and I don't care about damaging/losing it. Ugh, human psychology, should just use the nice stuff otherwise what's the point?!...

I don't have any cts-xhp blades but from its description and what I've read in reviews I don't think saying 20CV is a better steel is an accurate statement.

I used to think like that but I've been trying to get myself to use the nice things first. Seems like you're also in a place in life where you can afford to damage/lose the nice things — that's the point of the backups, after all. Unless you're going somewhere it might get confiscated….
I've been carrying a Bugout mini as my EDC and it's been great. Got plenty of beaters for those times I know I'll need it.

Great knife for the price. Got one last year and installed GlowRhino scales. Out of all my benchies and spydies, this one is my favorite EDC.
or you use a computer, price is shown in the car.

there is a quick reference about the popular steel, not saying it is accurate, but an easy reference. https://knifeinformer.c
