I've been watching this TV for a while now. Dropped to $1649.97 last week, but was too nervous to see if it dropped more. I've got 30 days for a price match.
It came with an extra 2 year warranty from All-State, for a total of 5 years.

Is there a way to check availability for these online? I chatted with Costo, they told me they can't see it anywhere in stock.
You will just need to call your local Costco with the item number, they can check in their system. They can also check nearby stores as well. I'm debating on getting this as well, but the idea of renting a truck to haul it has me sitting on the fence
I ended up buying an 86" LG UP8770 last December for $1499 at Costco with the 5 year warranty. It's not great for watching movies due to lack of local dimming. I have an older Samsung KS8000 mounted in the same room. That TV gets a lot brighter than the LG. However, the LG is excellent for fast action sports. It has no judder. I have heard this Sony model is great for movies but suffers from bad judder when watching fast action sports. That would be a deal breaker for me. I would need to return it if that's the case. I'd love to hear anyone's experience with watching sports on the Sony. They have a few at my local Costco for the same price as the OP, and I have a buyer for my LG.

Definitely want to hear these comments as well. If I can't watch football or play games without judder I need to take it back.
Mine is still sitting in the box while I make room for it.
Sadly, Costco will not deliver in store TV purchases to your home, and this set is not available online. I would need to rent a truck. That's probably more trouble than it's worth. Maybe Costco will offer something comparable online around Black Friday.
Just picked up the display model at the S. Austin Costco for $1480 + tax since it was the only one left in the warehouse. They included the additional 3 year warranty.
To my surprise, my local Costco had the last brand new one for $1200. And it even came with the extra warranty. I didn't go there for TV, but came out with this TV only.

Smoking deal! I'm hoping the price drops in the next 30 days at my local Costco so I can price match.

$1200 is a no brainer. Where was that? My store in the Chattanooga, TN area had four left priced at $1650. If you have gigabit internet service, you should be able to plug in a USB ethernet to USB adapter like I've linked below to get much faster internet speeds than using the 10/100 RJ45 port or a wifi connection. If anybody has tried a USB ethernet adapter with this model, please chime in.

Does anybody know if I have to go back to the same Costco I bought it from for a price match, or any Costco can do that?
