For those who have a balance of cashback from their Discover card, redeem for Subway or Domino's Pizza options at 20% added value. For example, pay $40 for a $50 card.

These are normally only 10% added value but added value is increased to 20% through 8/31/22 or while supplies last.

Curious to why you think so. They have a good reward system.
Most likely he didn't qualify for the card

Subway and dominos - both tastes like cardboard
I'm sorry you have such awful franchises near you. Or perhaps you should have your taste buds looked at. In the meantime, if the deal doesn't interest you, feel free to ignore/move on.

Discover is not a good company
On the contrary, from a custom-service perspective, I have never dealt with a better credit card company. While they don't have a lot of fancy cashback/rewards options, they are fairly easy to get (even as a college student), and can be great to work with for anyone responsibly managing their credit (paying it off each month).

Nothing new...
Not "new", but it does come and go. As noted elsewhere, it's often 10%, but occasionally is 20%. For those with kids who love Dominos, time to stock up.

Nice deal.. But I don't see an option to redeem points for gift card on Discover website. Am I missing something?
I'm very curious about this -- do you have a discover credit card? Or are you talking about Discover cashback checking? This does only apply to credit cards. Is there a Discover credit card that doesn't offer the gift card redemption option??

Not in my experience- great customer support (second only to American Express), excellent high interest savings account and their 5 percent Cashback categories are very useful.

I agree. Have had no problems with them, and have had their card for a long time.

Nice! And you can choose all kinds of dollar values, I went with 3x $35 ecertificates so I can use up the giant stack of $5GC that keep accumulating
Can you explain? what is the benefit of buying 3x35 instead of $100 straight up?

Dominos only allows for 3 gift cards codes to be used at one time — so a bunch of smaller GC's (like the common bonus $5 ones) are a pain unless used alongside a larger GC

Okay but a single $XXXXX GC can still be used with 2 $5 GC max then right?

Yes you better clarified what I meant, and that's exactly how I use em. 2x $5GC and whichever big card I have left with a balance

No. I just used mine. Says it is good until August 31st or while supplies last, but they hardly ever pull sales early.
