Good deals and way better/faster/cheaper than 3050 or 2060. Nvidia suck at prices reducing comparing to AMD. Just like how EVGA promoting back to schools sale, but not real reduction in pricing at all. Sight!!!

Still too high. Manufacturers are beginning to sweat, but if we wait they will cave. DO NOT BUY YET!

If your budget is $600-750 then this is your best option new. The current price to performance on the Radeon RX 66/67/68/6900 (xt) line up is currently great all around.

6700 XT 12gb $430.00 ($850 budget)
6700 10gb $370
6600 XT 8gb $310
6600 8gb $260 ($600 budget)

If you have a $1150 budget then I would either pick up a RX 6900 XT for $700 or wait to see if you can find a 3080 for $700. If I'm reading the tea leaves right you will find GPU cards on sale in the next 6 months.

EDIT: If you live near a microcenter, you can find a $170 motherboard/CPU combo kit (b450 pcie 3.0 but slightly slower from 4.0 but great reviewed mobo) and Ryzen 5600 (equivalent to I5-12 gen which is popular deal on SD for $147). If you pair this $170 mobo+$260 GPU +$200 case/psu/ram/512gb m.2

You're getting current gen performance for $630.00

Definitely! Been enjoying seeing the deals on cards but already bit the bullet last October for this card at $379. See you Summer 2023 when the 4070/60's hit the shelves!

this card uses half the power of my vega 64 but basically does same performance and at this price it at least is cheaper than what i bought my vega 64's at

id recommend this to anyone ok with playing 1080p max/ultra at 60 for most AAA games

1440p it would be able to handle multiple titles... price to performance is ok in my eyes especially if you want a low power card

Doing a budget build looking for highest performance for value. Go with this one or wait for another card/price drop?

Just a point of clarification that this is the 6600, NOT the 6600 XT for those who may be otherwise unaware.

I'd grab an RTX 3050 if I was shopping in this price range, because DLSS crushes. Cheers.

PCpartpicker uses this in their modest gaming builds, step above entry level but below what they consider "great". Price range is under $800 for the full build (currently $720 AMD or 780 Intel).

FYI, it is slower than 1070, a 6 year old mainstream card.

remember what CPU was released 6 years ago? intel 6800K, AMD A10-8770. i wonder could you even find any processor today cost 200 dollars that performs less than those find in 2016?
1070 ti is still a beast for her age, playing with the card and fsr(Quality Mode) in 2022 is a testament to why Nvidia remains the leader and also the current state of affairs in the GPU market.

ROFL. who the hell user userbench for GPU. It's already bad enough for CPU. Did you just google 1070 vs 6600, pick the first result and just come to this conclusion like a newb. 6600 is def faster than 1070 in actual games.

planning to stick this in a Silverstone SG13, this one should fit just fine right? below is the card's measurement.

269 x 132 x 41 mm

Edit: NM, looks like it's too close as the SG13 can fit max 270mm length card and this one's definitely too close. will stick with the Sapphire RX 6600 Lite for same price.
