This printer not works well with Mac m1. I got problem to print big job(if I print more than 10 pages, the job will be canceled),but I can print same big job with windows pc without any issues.
Probably an issue with the app connection?

Does people here on SD hate apple products or what? You and the other guy asked a question and gets instantly downvoted?

I print may be 1 or 2 papers per month (sometimes 10 pages at a time per 6 months), I usually go to FedEx using their PrintAndGo feature of theirs. 17 cents per b/w paper.

Do you guys suggest me go the same route or do you guys suggest any good printer for my case

FedEx is just 3 miles away, buy the time it takes me to go there, and if any mistakes, I have to stay there or go back again. That's the only problem.

Have you check your local library? Some are offering free printing.

Not sure I understand. If you open the order page on the website or app, there's a cancel button. I placed 2 orders and canceled 1 myself. If it already shipped and is lost, there should be tracking.
Yes there is shipping, I forgot to mention this. There was a shipping label created two weeks ago and then nothing else since then. It's a dummy shipping label --- no item was ever picked up by the carrier. In this case it's "shipped" so no cancel button can be found.

Did you try RESET under Initial Settings and/or use the manual feed?

FWIW I've been using "knock offs" in Brother MFC printers for probably 20 years. They are workhorse machines that don't mind generic toner, and aren't programmed to annoy you with scary warnings when you use non-OEM toners and drums.

And bonus for deal-hunters: there are unscrupulous sellers of replacement toners and drums on Amazon who have good products but will basically pay you to use their toner if you just write a review.

In fact, my only beef with these units is that the Brother software (which you don't truly need) tells me every day to "replace drum" when the drum still has a few months of life left.
How can you tell when the the drum actually need to be replaced? Greatly appreciate the info!

Printouts start to fade in darkness

One can still print for a little bit longer. Depends upon what the output is for.

Yes, completed initial reset steps. Manual feed is working, not the tray 1.

Is there any benefit to the software? Since the printer doesn't have fax/scan features that might need extra software, I didn't install it and let Windows add the driver it wanted.

love my very old model of this working for i think over 10 years now
I've had HP and Canon. You'd be lucky for those to last ten years. To be fair, I think I've had the Canon for a while and got it fairly cheaply but it's been giving me too many issues lately.

My Canon MF4880dw is almost 10. The had 1 wifi issue where the printer didn't respond and fixed it by assigning a static IP address. Works great. This Brother HL-L2325DW is easier to set up though.
