The Switch OLED's were selling for like $500+ during COVID and were impossible to find in retail stores. Not sure what you're talking about but this is as low as I've seen them.

They literally didn't even exist in 2005. Your comment is a real head-scratcher.

Hardware don't get worse with time. It will always play what it can play when you buy it. It will never "degrade" to the point that you can only play "tetris"

I kinda agree but they're not really comparable, people buy nintendo for the nintendo exclusives, there is no alternative

For what it's worth, Nintendo has said they plan on supporting the switch til 2027... And there's supposed to be another switch model coming out sometime... no for sure dates yet though

edit: I stand corrected - there is no official release date yet for the new Switch model. I have edited my post.

Yuzu and Ryujinx are Nintendo Switch emulators.
Get the Steam Deck and play everything including those Nintendo exclusives.

You are wasting your money. If you build a good system from the start you shouldn't have to spend thousands every year to upgrade. My systems will last me at least 3 years or longer with maybe just to the video card

Nice deal. I bought the original Switch when it came out and just upgraded to the OLED last month after seeing one in person and how much nicer the new screen is.
