At one point wasn't this "lost media"? Because it couldn't be downloaded anywhere?

Yes, but the $5 monthly won't work for a $4.99 purchase.

Not sure, but GameStop rewards members get a $5 credit each month, which can be used to buy a $5 Nintendo store online credit.

The coupon works on eShop denominations $10 and up.

digital purchases under 5.00 won't work with the coupon but you can try to add a filler item to get past the 5.00 total.

Just adding for anyone else that might be reading what you wrote... In store, you can buy a digital $5 eShop card with the monthly certificate. The cashier will do it right on their computer and you'll get a Nintendo eShop code on the receipt itself.

On a similar note, you could do the same for Xbox (usually what I do). For Playstation, I think it's $10. Not sure if the card must be physical or not. For steam, you must buy a physical card. The lowest denomination is $20. The $5 will come off of it making it $15... If anyone knows a way to get a $5 steam card or even $10, let me know. ❤️

Can confirm that you can buy a $5 for eshop with your $5 gamestop credit. You just ask the cashier and they put it in the computer and it prints on your receipt. Never let that $5 go to waste.
