The coupon multiplies, with my SS 15% the price per pod is $0.17

My family recently switched back from pods to just liquid and have noticed a significant change in how much better the liquid does. The convenience factor isn't even that much better. Try the liquid again ( make sure you use both reservoirs). It's cheaper and lasts longer.

There is a youtube channel called "Technology Connections". He made 2 videos on dishwashers titled "Detergent packs are kinda wishy-washy (Dishwashers Explained)" & "I messed up. You're using too much detergent.". Definitely worth the watch to understand the workings of the dishwasher and the fancy pods.

Finish quantum works better for me than the cascade pod. The cascade pod is too much detergent for my dishwasher, anything plastic or silicone were stained with the scent. Switched back to finish and I don't experience that anymore.

Yup, plus the polymers they use to encase the detergent is toxic and can cause cancer albeit way larger doses. Let's be real though, I bet the liquid isn't much healthier

Price has been creeping up at Costco. 100 pods at the end of June $15.99, now $17.89 a month later. Still cheaper than this deal tho if u choose to go into the warehouse

Not a huge fan of this kind. They seem to sand blast all the writing off my mugs and glasses. We don't have this issue with Cascade Platinum.

When you use pods, you always use a large amount of soap. That might lead to your dishes actually being less clean. Technology Connection's videos were very helpful, and helped me get cleaner dishes every time.

Using a liquid or powder allows you to use an appropriate amount for each load.

But the soap manufacturers would strongly prefer for you to use a large amount, every time.

I actually like the powder the best. I am having trouble convincing my marketing influenced family about this however. The powder actually works really well, however it's somewhat difficult to find. Sams Club version used to be the best and cheapest but they don't sell it anymore. I still find the WalMart version however and a box of it lasts a huge number of washes. It's also great for cleaning Yeti style mugs and baked on food in pools and pans. A little powder and a 2-3 hour soak and it's amazing the baked on food it removes.
