This is a nice umbrella and is discounted further than June 5 ($199). I just opened a chat with Home Depot because I bought at $199 price point and getting the price difference back was quick and easy!
You will need 3-4 bags of all purpose or play sand to fill the base (~$20). We have a small patio space and 8ft is perfect for our needs.
You should always (in winter) either put them away out of the elements or get a waterproof cover for them. I have a umbrella that I put in a cover and it still looks almost new after 5 years.

Don't most umbrellas left out in the weather shit out after a few years?

We haven't ordered a cover for ours yet but Home Depot has one for around $30 I believe.
There are many cantilever umbrellas out there from those rando brands for less but I figured this would be a safer bet so I went for it. My hope is that if we take care of it (cover) and maybe putting away out of season it will last.
Quite a few one-star reviews about it breaking after a few years.
I had a similar one for a very short time, like a couple of weeks, these types with the cross base have a serious weak point at the intersection because the top bar is very thin at that point. One moderate wind just bent it at that point, had the umbrella weights on them too, they did nothing to save it.
