This isn't a deal. This type of crappy bike routinely sells for about $100. I'm no bike snob that thinks everyone needs a $2000 bike, but this bike is complete garbage.

Only paid reviews are saying good remaining all are complaining about tires and brakes

If you're looking to spend as little as possible, this Decathlon bike at Walmart is definitely a better choice. It may not be durable enough for actual mountain biking, but should be good for riding around the neighborhood or on dirt paths.

If you are able to spend a little more, this one at REI is actually capable of handling easy to moderate mountain biking.

This Decathlon bike for $168 is a much better budget bike:

Too bad about the twist shifters. On more expensive bikes they can work well (I have them on my high quality mountain bike). But on cheaper bikes, I notice they take more effort and eventually sometimes bind. Would rather have lever shifters on this style of bike.

Can you link some better deals? I mean if you're going to criticize this deal, why not post your idea of a better one or at least an example, for those of us who don't know better?
