i had this. threw it out. it will work well in just a few applications, but for the most part, it is very awkward unless you have 3 hands. the old serrated blade works much better

I kinda agree with you, not sure why, but it worked well first few times then starts to "bunch up" when you run the slider to cut. BUT, I still prefer it over the old blade type as I had a frustrating exp where the roll got messed up and could not get a "sheet" cleanly. This is better, slightly.

Agree with you both, but I error in favor of this design. It does bunch up if it's not perfectly flat when you slide the cutter and it is a little awkward overall....BUT I think we've all had serious all-out fights with the serrated blade system at some point too. Overall, if you just take your time, this design is 1/2 click better IMO.

I bought my first roll of this brand. Getting the beginning to unroll from the spool is not easy. I'm thinking maybe it's that a full roll is too fat and there's too much friction in the container. Hopefully it will roll out more freely as the roll gets skinny.

It's a decent price. I hate the slider as well. I just put the roll in my old shoprite box and voilà...problem solved. Cool

I prefer this brand plastic wrap over the others. I like the slider thing too and don't find it awkward. Occasionally it bunches up and doesn't cut but doesn't take much to straighten out.
