If Fitbit 2 or Amazfit is not on your list then I would wait for the recently announced Google Pizel watch instead of getting this.

My bad.. Pls ignore.. above is for membership only.. that's in fine print
Really hope any of those watches can have a built-in glucose monitor.

I was talking about the Versa 3. It sucks because the basic feature of HR monitoring does not work properly.
Versa 2 is good and so are many of the Amazfit watches. Google bought Fitbit hence it makes sense to wait for the Google Pixel watch instead of getting a Fitbit-3, which I think a 1.5 year old watch, at this time.

I purchased the Versa 3 in early November 2021 and as others have mentioned the HR function was useless. In addition, the exercise function and step counts were consistently inaccurate. I borrowed my wife's Versa 2 and wore both of them during a 1 mile walk and it confirmed how the Versa 3 was over-counting steps and also inaccurate on how far I'd gone.
Suspecting I had gotten a lemon, bought another one and use them simultaneously for about a week. Very appreciative of Target's return policy during the holiday season as I was able to return them both and get my money back.
Is there a reason why it's like that? Can software fix it? Is it a hardware problem?
