Amazon has the new R10 with 18-150 lens kit 9% off for a savings of $130. Body only and 18-45 lens are not discounted. I was on the fence and this was enough to make me pull the trigger.

Isn't this the MSRP price for the body only?

The EOS R10 body-only, $979 MSRP.
Kit options include a bundle with the 18-45mm F4. 5-6.3 IS STM for $1099 or with the 18-150mm F3. 5-6.3 IS STM for around $1379.

Correct. I said in my post the body only and 18-45 kit were not discounted, apologies if that wasn't clear.

Nice. I'm finally replacing my T2i. I got the adapter for my EF glass so I almost passed on the lens, but the rf glass is so compact and lightweight compared to adapter + old glass.

Am I the only one that wouldn't buy an APS-C mirrorless camera because of the lens mount step down? i think this looks terrible.
If you really care that much about the mount necked down, just get an RF lens instead of RF-S.
It will cover the full mount and "look better" for you.

If any of you were quick, last night Beach Camera had accidentally listed 10 of these Canon EOS R10 Mirrorless Camera w/RF-S18-150mm f/3.5-6.3 is STM Lens Kit under the same price as the body (lens was free). They've since changed it to the regular price of $1379 vs $979 (scored a free lens) on Amazon. I was lucky to score one, but was tempted to buy more haha https://pasteboard.co/xxqBdx99ATN0.jpg

I actually managed to score this late last night as well. Can confirm it just shipped. I was worried they were going to cancel it. By the time I went to update the post they had already fixed the price.

Good but not great, a week ago Ra ku ten had 12.5% cash back on the Canon store, which brought the body down to $933, and that is already including tax and shipping.

Tbh I wouldn't get this even if there still has 979 with kit lens available. I would go Fuji xs10 for $20 more. I think it doesn't really make too much sense at this moment to get a Canon crop body. I don't see their roadmap for RF-S glasses in the near future, and those "potentially new RF-S lenses" mentioned in some rumors are basically borrowed directly from EF-M. And it seems like they are not going to open the RF protocol any time soon for third party to make lenses for them.
