Regarding screen size…bigger than you might think considering 4:3 aspect ratio (see attached image of screen dimensions)

Thanks for the heads up. Ordered it from Home Depot for $150 a few days ago and they gave me a $20 credit for the difference via their customer service text messaging.
At this rate, it will be less than $99 this holiday season.
Hopefully. This along with the NBA Jam, TMNT, and Mortal Kombat countercades were a big hit on sale last year. I could kick myself for not grabbing the TMNT one for my son, but yea I'm hoping these hit $99 by then.

Each one was $99 or they all come in the same system?
This might go lower, but I bit for $130. I do like the art and button layout and wouldn't want to forget about it for a couple of months and then miss the clearance. Even though the screen is only 8", it is apparently really vivid with good viewing angles (we'll see).
You can soft-mod it with Mystery Countercade so that it boots Batocera from a USB to run additional games and still remove the USB stick to return to the factory state. If the screen really is decent and I want more processing power, then perhaps dumping another $50-ish for a display driver board and USB button boards might be worthwhile.
