Yes, they mean subscriptions. And yes, add before cutoff date for order. Sometimes you can add multiple subscriptions of the same item to boost the item count to get to 5 for the extra savings if you want multiple of the same items or different flavors, etc.

Once you have a subscription, under the Your Account tab you'll see a Subscribe & Save section where you can modify dates, items, etc.

You don't need to combine dates, anything you add will be added to your next shipment.

S&S TOO COMPLICATED!
Add 4 means... subscriptions not products not items, right?
But add before the cutoff date for the order date?
And how can the dates be changed, combined?
I hate Amazon's games.

Thank you.
And ship dates are kind of "rounded" to monthly it seems.
Subject to the repeat frequency.
Unless it's the first one.
lol

And 5 subscriptions in a single shipment, not 5 total subscriptions, like not including that every 6 months one?

So five 6 month repeat subscriptions over the following 5 months gets 15% off? Even though those would be shipped 1 per shipment? I thought the discount was for "bulk shipping", cheaper for them of course.

And the price adjusts on re-orders to remove any previous sale I think.

Why would you trust a company that does this? lol

You cancel the s&s right after first shipment. Nothing to do with trust. Cheap prices, and customer service that doesn't question anything when you ask for refunds. Pretty damn fine company in my book.

Any month where you have 5+ subscriptions you'll get the extra discount, which varies per item. If you have <4, you'll get the regular S&S discount, which is usually 5%. The 5+ discount is usually 10 or 15% and depends on item.

The ship dates are once a month but you can change the next shipment to earlier if you want. You could get them about every 2 weeks if you keep changing the dates if you wanted to for some reason.

Yes, the price will change to reflect the current price on the date your shipment is finalized (usually about a week before ship date). But you'll still get the 15% off whatever that is, assuming you still have 5+ subscriptions for that shipment. They'll email you to tell you the price. But to make it easy, just cancel after it ships if you don't want it again or only got it because of the deep discount.

Yeah it's stupid to have to go through all of this but it's easy to just cancel shit to get the one-time discount. It's not that complicated. It's a minute or two a month to adjust things. I get cat food and energy drinks every month and it's easy to find 3 other things most of the time if you just keep up with Slickdeals. Plenty of small <$10 items below supermarket price (like these almonds) to bump you up to 5 items to get a good discount on whatever you want every month. I usually end up with around 8 things a month.

Alternatively, you can keep pushing your "first shipment" back until you have five items, however long that takes.

I don't have a Costco, but Sam's Club regular price is $13-14 for 40oz, which is noticeably more expensive per ounce than this deal.

ETA: The store brand natural 48oz is $11 at Sam's if you don't care about brand name or fancy flavors.
