Saucony: those are rookie numbers. Gotta pump those up. 🤣
True. This is a weak discount. Those Jobs numbers that came out Friday show the consumer isn't quite ready to cut back on spending. Deckers (Hoka's parent co) reported excellent sales numbers for their shoes. Running Warehouse told me last week that their experiencing major delays on both order fulfillment and return processing (10 day backlog). Demand for running goods remains super strong. Which raises the question; why has Saucony been offering nearly all of their shoe models at firesale prices? Maybe they had cargo idling out on the ocean for several months and it all finally got unloaded this Spring which left them with an inventory glut.
These are super comfortable but the tread wears thin within a few months of limited use, for me at least. Would still recommend with that caveat. Though $110 is nothing to jump on unless your already in need.

i bought my ghost 14 (1103691D020) a little over 9 months ago and have logged 58 runs for 230 miles and the tread looks fine with minor wear patterns (ie shallow decorative line pattern worn off of tread in half-inch wide stripe from front inside to back outside of shoes). i primarily run on concrete/sidewalk/street (80%) with some grass/park/yard running (20%).
now, what has worn thin / compressed for me is the insole/insert. i've had to recently replace the inserts in my ghost 14 at 200 miles and on one pair of launch 8 at 100 miles because the insole under the outside of my right (non-dominant) big toe was really thin (though showing no signs of wear on the top or bottom of the insert, just compression) and the corresponding spot on my toe began to become irritated (ie developed a callous with minor blister-like discomfort). i replaced the insoles and now the shoes feel great (though a little different because the new insoles are more padded/comfortable, but less contoured/fit-like-a-glove). oddly, the insoles in my 9-month 150-mile 36-run other Launch 8 pair are doing fine.

reasons to buy with a relatively minor discount:
you like ghost 14 and don't want to deal with the inevitable changes of the ghost 15 (see ghost 13→14 complaints)
you wear a size that often has low/no stock or sells out quickly
you want a particular colorway that often has low/no stock or sells out quickly
brooks has a url for seeing all men or women shoes that are on sale, which i glance over daily (with my other store-sale-specific links that i also have bookmarked):
