This is not to be confused with the eGC offer which people have had trouble with. This offer automatically takes off $45 of your total in-store purchase as long as the cart total is $45+. Usually works instantaneously, but I'd give it 72 hours or so just to be on the safer side.
I signed up with a new email, went to the club next day and it worked like a charm with Scan and Go and I didn't even have to stand in the checkout line.
