Still very easy to install the play store on this, takes about 5 minutes.

Niece has one and loves it. It's not winning any races, but for a kid's tablet, this is perfect.

Specs aren't amazing but it's quite good at this price. I don't think there's a better tablet under $100. It's plenty for streaming videos and playing simple games.

It's possible to install the Google Play Store on Fire tablets with a little fiddling.

Still very easy to install the play store on this, takes about 5 minutes.

Niece has one and loves it. It's not winning any races, but for a kid's tablet, this is perfect.

What would you think about future trade in value? Amazon would likely be the only retailer to accept this correct?

Best Buy will likely take it. They both offer a % off your next fire HD with trade in. Though looks like Best Buy isn't offering it currently.
