Absolutely. It works at least with almost all laptops which have headset jacks at least. For desktops you may need a pigtail cable depending on hardware.

It does work but since this is made for XBox it doesn't come with the USB soundcard, so you won't be able to do the virtual 7.1 surround sound. If you're using this primarily for a PC, you may just want to wait on a deal for Cloud 2's, basically the same drivers but comes with the USB soundcard

If you have a splitter, yes.

Of course it does. Calling it an “Xbox” headset is nothing but marketing.

I love this headset. It's very comfortable and great sound. In-line controls are a little loose causing static and loss of audio in some positions.

I have a Cloud X and love it. All day comfortable, decent sound and a good mic for a gaming headset. I use mine on a PC with a mic/headphone Y-splitter. Works equally well with onboard audio and with a separate USB soundcard. Echo the comment above, only problem I have with it is that the volume control is hypersensitive.

Is this or the Logitech G432 better? Both are on sale for the same price. Going to be using it for Xbox and possibly Teams calls on a PC

This is better all around. It's the best headset you're going to find for this price. The Cooler Master MH751 has similar sound quality and a better microphone, but it's more than double the price. The Sennheiser PC37X goes on sale for $70-$80 pretty often and sounds much better than either, but again it's more than double the price of these.
The only downside to these is the non-detachable cable, so if the cable is damaged they're done for. It's possible to repair the cable with a soldering iron, but thin audio cables are a complete pain to solder.

Have these too. They are hard wearing. A little heavy and can get hit after a few hours being over the ear, but that is with any. One bad thing was that sound level was really good with xb1 but when I switched to xbx, the max vilume went right down. Might have been the new controller vs. the device but regardless, was dissapointed (doesn't happen with other headphones).

I got this headset on my birthday, August 2019, and I agree with you on the static noise and audio loss. I just push the wire inwards toward the headphones and the Xbox controller or rotate the input part. Not much of a deal and overall its a really good headset.
