This is exactly what I wanted, I canceled my 4k screen version with 512GB SSD and got this one. Thank you!

Is that better than a 4k version?

So I got mines last month and it's a beauty of a machine. The only thing that is kinda crazy is how loud the fan can get sometimes. It's like having an air purifier set on turbo... Muffled whooshing

Looks like almost the same one as https://www.bestbuy.com/site/leno...Id=6502224
but this one has a 1TB SSD.

That's correct. I posted that other deal. I've had my eye on these for a while. And yes most reviews prefer the 2.8k 90hz screen although one did not.

Also, my ship date for this laptop says tomorrow.

For the 4k version I ordered and just canceled, the ship date was 2 weeks.

I cancelled my 4K too and ordered this one. Also, ordered 4 years extended warranty for 126. probably don't need it.

This versus MSI at Costco?

https://www.costco.com/msi-summit...49644.html

Cheaper with 2 year warranty.

do the fans kick in all the time? are they at least quiet when just browsing the internet?

I got the one from best buy and used it all last night. It did turn the fans on but it was quiet. You can hear them but mine was not as loud as described. The fans did not run all the time. So far, it's a pretty impressive laptop. Seems very fast and didn't get too hot on my lap after hours of use.

Very good looking with the chrome. About the same thickness as my 2019 Inspiron. Weighed in at just over 3.5 lbs on my scale.

Does have lots of Lenovo bloat as to be expected.

The screen is amazing with HDR on. Highly recommend the OLED for those who watch a lot of video.

Definitely don't need the 4K. You can't even see the pixels with your face right next to the screen.

Speakers are decent for laptop speakers.

The "trap door" effect some OLEDs have is only described intermittently. This panel is used by many laptops. One guy exchanged his and got a new one that was much better so if the picture is grainy on whites or grays I'd recommend trying to exchange it.
