Old. No one needs 32gb. 8gb new Paperwhite is good enough. Jeffy is trying to rip off :-)

Way better option than regular 11 gen Kindle at the same price if you are in search of a Kindle now.

Can you explain why. Why should someone buy an old model when new is out with better functionality.

Compared to basic 11th gen Kindle which has the same price right now - this is a better option.

32GB for audio books is a good thing.

They said "Why?" not "What?"

I believe, they misunderstood what model I was comparing to.

It is bad argument to quote the regular price of a kindle. Kindle devices go on sale all the time -- usually small discounts, but $30 off paperwhite happens from time to time. I'd argue that unless you are gifting someone a kindle device or you really need a kindle right now, you should always wait for a big discount.

(I am a kindle user since 2011 and have owned 4 kindle devices so far.)

If you shop for a Kidnle right now, you have options:
  • 11th gen 8Gb Basic Kindle - $89.99
  • 11th gen 8Gb Kindle Paperwhite - $139.99
  • 10th gen 32Gb Kindle Paperwhite (this deal) - $89.99

Comparing to Basic 11th gen Kindle you get 300ppi, bunch of extra LEDs, 32Gb, waterproofing for the same price.
Is this deal better when Basic Kindle is on sale for $49.99 and 11th gen Paperwhite for $104.99? I do not think so (but really, it depends).

32Gb was 59.99, but yes - also a good option if a used device will suit your needs.
