However as this is one of those machines where you need to put in a special ice mold you sacrifice convenience for that super soft shave.
I've moved on to the snowie. Yes it's much more and while this Slickdeals posted machine probably gives you a 9/10 on the fluffy scale, the snowie is about an 8.2/10, but the convenience of using regular ice cubes makes you end up using it so much more.
Now I dont own this specific machine, but I do own a prior incarnation from another brand that likely performs very similar. I paid about $30 for it, but that was about 15 years ago.
Feel free to AMA about shaved/shave ice.
Oh...and please don't you dare call it a snow cone
